Federal High Court Orders Interim Forfeiture of N213.2bn Properties Linked to Former AGF
Abuja, Nigeria β January 7, 2026: A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has granted an interim order to forfeit 57 properties worth approximately β¦213.2 billion that are allegedly connected to former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami (SAN) and two of his sons. Justice Emeka Nwite made the ruling on an ex parte application filed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), represented by Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) Ekele Iheanacho. The properties, which include landed estates and commercial buildings located across Abuja, Kebbi, Kano, and Kaduna States, are suspected to be proceeds of unlawful activities. (Channels Television)
